Flowers and Pollinators

  • This section is a little bit different than the others. It's a collection of my favorite flower photos.

  • It also features pollinators which are critical to the reproduction of plants.

  • Now to get a little nerdy. Below is photographed a bumble bee and honey bee in North America. Can you guess which is native?

It’s the bumble bee! Honey bees were brought over by Europeans to produce honey.

  • Some of the flowers photographed were also brought to North America, such as the blue bugle and butter cup.

However, though differing from location, the flowers and pollinators come together to build a vibrant forest.
